HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) announced various lane closures on I-26 in Henderson County for this week.
The lane closures will be near the Green River Bridge, according to NCDOT.
Officials said that crews will be leveling, milling, paving and removing safety walls before the onset of winter conditions. Daytime operations in the work zone near mile marker 55 will involve paving, and nighttime operations will involve removing the wall.
The eastbound lane closures will take place from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., and the westbound lane closures will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Nighttime lane closures will run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
