MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - UW Health officials announced Monday that the organization has officially broken ground on the new University Row Medical Center in Madison.
The project, which is an expansion of the Digestive Health Center already located in the building, will be at 750 University Row in Madison, about two miles west of the hospital.
Officials said the expansion of the University Row Center is a significant step in the long-term goal of closing the facilities at 20 S. Park Street and ensuring improved access to care in the central Isthmus.
Most of the specialty clinics at the 20 S. Park location will find new homes within the four-story University Row Medical Center.
The new clinic will house adult and pediatric primary care, urgent care, rehabilitation, a pharmacy, and imaging
