UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – As the Nittany Lions returned home to Beaver Stadium to take on No. 2 Indiana, many believed they would end up as hopelessly outmatched last Saturday as it was against Ohio State, but that was far from the case.

Despite the end result being a 27-24 loss to the Hoosiers, Penn State fought valiantly, rallying together to mount a 14-point comeback in the fourth quarter and give it a chance to topple the second-best team in the country.

With the confidence from both players and staff seeming to be at an all-time high since the loss to Oregon, interim head coach Terry Smith took to the podium Monday to address how the team can build off its best performance of the year and what it means for the future of the Nittany Lions’ season:
