GREENSBORO, N.C. — The City of Greensboro is issuing a White Flag response to the wintery temperatures expected for Monday and Tuesday nights.
A White Flag response is when actual or "feels like" temperatures reach 32 degrees for two or more hours or for other winter weather events, according to the city. Warming centers will be activated while response is in place.
First Baptist Church on 1000 W. Friendly Ave will provide overnight shelter on Monday, Nov. 10 and Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. both days.
