Tonight will be the coldest night we have seen so far this season. Lows will drop into the lower 20s for most with clear skies. Make sure you are taking care of the 4 P's people, pets, pipes, and plants. Tuesday afternoon will be warmer, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
A gradual warming trend is expected through the rest of the work week, with highs returning to above-average by Friday, in the low 70s.
A more unsettled pattern will return as we move towards the end of the weekend into the start of next week with the climate prediction center outlining most of Alabama in a slight risk for heavy rain.
TONIGHT: Cold, hard freeze expected. Wind: NW 5-10 mph.
TUESDAY: Not as cold. Highs in the upper 40s. Wind: SW 10-15 mph, gusts 20 mph.
