Huntsville Police are investigating a shooting that happened at Bridge Street on Saturday.

Police say the shooting happened near the entrance to one of the shopping plaza's parking garages. Investigators say evidence indicates one person fired at another, missing the intended target and hitting an occupied vehicle.

No injuries were reported in the shooting. There was minor damage to the nearby parking structure.

Huntsville Police say they are not conducting interviews in the shooting investigation. The department asks that anyone with information about the shooting to call 256-427-7291. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers at 256-532-7463 or HERE .
