CINCINNATI, Ohio — Joe Burrow is getting closer to making his return to the football field for the Bengals.
Burrow, who hasn’t played since Sept. 14 against the Jaguars when he suffered a turf toe injury and went on injured reserve, was back on the practice field on Monday on a limited basis.
By returning to the practice field, the Bengals opened up Burrow’s 21-day practice window. That means he can practice with the team for up to 21 days without needing to be activated from injured reserve.
