An appeal has been issued to identify the individual(s) responsible for a carjacking in St. Paul that resulted in a driver being shot in the leg.
The incident happened in broad daylight in the city's Dayton's Bluff neighborhood, with a man reported being carjacked around 10:45 a.m. Friday on the 800 block of Forest Street.
The victim was hospitalized and is now recovering from his injury, per St. Paul police, but the person or people behind the crime have yet to be found.
No information has been provided by police regarding suspects, with the department issuing an appeal for public help identifying those responsible.
