FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine (WABI/WAGM) - Two people were injured after a head on collision in Fort Fairfield Monday morning.
Police say they responded to a two-vehicle crash on the Caribou Road around 10 a.m.
57-year-old Theodore St. Peter of Fort Fairfield was driving on the South Caribou Road when he lost control.
He crossed the center line and hit an oncoming cargo truck driven by 25-year-old Cameran Doody of Woodland.
St. Peter was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
Officials say Doody had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
They say St. Peter and Doody were not wearing seatbelts.
The crash remains under investigation.
