WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man pleaded not guilty Monday in connection with a February shooting death at a home in southeast Wichita.
Jerry Johnson III is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Manuel Roach, 23.
Roach was shot on Feb. 11 near Lincoln and Oliver streets after a disturbance between him and three other men, according to police.
He was taken to the hospital by emergency medical services, where he died a short time later.
Johnson was arrested in May in Fort Worth, Texas.
Sergio Clement Jr. and Allen J. Griffin have also been charged with first-degree murder in the case. Both men face separate jury trials in January.
Johnson is scheduled to go to trial in April.
