The Seahawks lost starting center Jalen Sundell to a knee injury during Sunday's 44-22 win over the Cardinals, and will likely be without him for multiple games, head coach Mike Macdonald said.
"It's going to be multiple weeks," Macdonald said. "I'd say IR is under consideration with it. Not season-ending, as of today. He's tough as crap, we'll see how it goes, but hopefully we'll get him back."
Sundell does not need surgery, Macdonald said, but if the second-year lineman were indeed to go on injured reserve, that would mean missing at least four games before being eligible to return.
The good news for the Seahawks is that they have another center with starting experience in Olu Oluwatimi, who played well after taking over for Sundell, helping lead the way to a big rushing performance,
