Veteran actor Dharmendra is stable and recovering, his daughter Esha Deol said on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, urging the media to refrain from spreading misinformation about his health. The 89-year-old Bollywood icon remains under medical observation at a Mumbai hospital.

“The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery,” Esha wrote on Instagram.

Dharmendra’s wife, actor and politician Hema Malini, also condemned what she called “irresponsible” reporting on the veteran actor’s condition.
