New Delhi, Nov 11: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the security situation across the country following the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that killed 12 people and gutted several vehicles.
According to sources, the meeting was attended by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, IB Director Tapan Deka, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, and NIA Director General Sadanand Vasant Date. J&K DGP Nalin Prabhat joined the review virtually.
Top officials presented detailed assessments of the situation and ongoing investigations. Shah directed that central and state agencies conduct a thorough probe, assuring that the government would “go in-depth” to uncover the cause and conspirators behind the attack.
