Patna: As the final ballots are cast across Bihar, anticipation is building ahead of the 2025 Assembly election results, which will be announced on November 14. The outcome will determine whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his JD(U)-BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) manage to hold on to power, or if Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led INDIA bloc succeeds in ending the veteran leader’s decades-long political run.

The high-stakes battle, spread across 243 constituencies, has unfolded in two phases. The first, held on November 6, covered 121 seats across 18 districts and witnessed an encouraging 65.08 per cent voter turnout, a marked increase from 57.29 per cent recorded in the 2020 polls.
