Emergency services have rushed to a street in a Herefordshire market town after a huge bin lorry ploughed through the side of a house.

Police, fire and ambulance crews are at the scene of the incident after the vehicle smashed into the side of the property in Leominster this morning. The crash left a house on the street with significant damage. Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service reported a crash at 6.41am this morning, sending five fire crews to Bridge Street.

It is unclear if anyone was injured. West Mercia Police confirmed the road is closed and advised people to avoid the area.
