Emergency services have rushed to a property in the West Midlands after a bin lorry crashed through the front of a house.

Police, fire and ambulance crews are at the scene of the smash after the vehicle ploughed into the property in Leominster, Herefordshire.

Herefordshire Council confirmed that a waste collection lorry had crashed into the house at around 6:40am on Tuesday, November 11.

A council spokesperson said: "We are working with our partners to assess the situation. We are asking people to avoid the area to allow the emergency services to safely carry out their work.
