Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Chennai Kendra, is presenting its annual December Season concerts from Nov.20 and the first leg of the festival will be on for 23 days. All concerts are to be held in its main auditorium.
It is called Margazhi Mahotsav.
The second segment of this festival will be from December 13 and run for 18 days till January 1, 2026 featuring 66 individual performances of Carnatic vocal, Hindustani and instrumental music.
The third leg is of classical dance – from January 2 to January 15, and features 42 group and individual performances of various dance forms by renowned artistes.
R. N. Ravi, governor of Tamil Nadu will inaugurate the festival on Nov. 20 at 6pm and Dr. V. Kamakoti , head of IIT-Madras is the guest of honour.
