24-year-old Mouli, a. resident of Visalakshi Gardens was murdered by a gang in Mylapore on Thursday, November 20. Police suspected four youths to be behind the murder; three are now under arrest, with one of them shot in the leg and arrested by local police after they spotted him fleeing in the Adyar area. The youths are said to have been consumers of ganja and may have also been selling it. Enmity seems to have crept in and on Monday, the gang, on spotting Mouli, chased and cornered him and attacked him fatally; he died near Mandaveli MRTS station.
