ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A suspect shot at law enforcement officers and barricaded themselves in a Clayton County home on Monday night, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect is in a standoff with officers at a home on the 6100 block of Camden Forrest Cove, located in the Camden Forrest townhouse community in Riverdale, according to Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen.

Several agencies including the Riverdale Police Department, the Clayton County Police Department and the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office have responded, Allen said.

No injuries have been reported, according to Allen.

The sheriff said officers initially responded to a mental health call at the address.

SWAT officers are on the way. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
