ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man is dead and a teenager is recovering after a shooting in northwest Atlanta late Monday night, according to police.
Officers responded to a person being shot at 2001 Lois Place NW around 10:30 p.m. They found a 16-year-old boy who was shot in his left arm, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said officers also found another man with gunshot wounds who “was unresponsive and was pronounced dead on scene.”
No word has been given on what led to the shooting or about any possible suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
