BATON ROUGE, La. (WVUE) - LSU faces a 5 p.m. Tuesday deadline to provide written confirmation of former head coach Brian Kelly’s full $54 million buyout or face a lawsuit.

Kelly’s attorneys are demanding the written confirmation, according to the Advocate. The report says Kelly rejected lump-sum offers of $25 million and $30 million after being fired last month.

Kelly’s $54 million buyout is the second-largest in college football history, behind only Jimbo Fisher.
