SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A boil water notice has been issued for an area containing Christoval after a water main broke in the town on Nov. 10, according to a notice and field technician reports.
A document filed regarding the notice states that, "due to operating issues and water outage," the Tom Green County Fresh Water Supply District No. 2 water system was required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to notify customers to boil their water prior to consumption. This includes water for drinking, cooking and making ice.
"The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes," the notice reads. "Instead of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source."
