BREWER, Maine (WABI) - Veterans Day in Brewer kicked off with what organizers call “the best breakfast in town!”
Ahead of the parade Tuesday, Rotary Club of Bangor Breakfast hosted their 17th annual Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast at Jeff’s Catering.
Boasting an all-you-can-eat menu of eggs, sausage, beans and of course, plenty of pancakes, veterans got their plates for free.
Others were charged $7 per adult and $4 per child, with all proceeds benefitting local charities.
As a long-standing event, Bangor Breakfast Club says it has fostered generations of volunteers and years worth of community building, especially among veterans.
