The C-130 transport plane, operated by the Turkish Air Force, had departed from Azerbaijan and was returning to Turkey when it went down under unexplained circumstances, Turkey’s Ministry of Defence said, as reported by Reuters .
Rescue and emergency teams from Turkey, Georgia, and Azerbaijan have been deployed to the crash site.
Authorities have launched a joint investigation to determine the cause of the crash and reconstruct the sequence of events leading to the tragedy.
