New Delhi: A Turkish military cargo plane crashed in Georgia on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, near the Azerbaijani border, Turkish and Georgian officials said. Video footage shown on Turkish news channels showed the plane spinning in the sky, falling, and leaving a long trail of white smoke.

An X account, Air Safety #OTD by Francisco Cunha @OnDisasters, posted on X: “Today, a Turkish Air Force C-130 crashed near the Azerbaijan-Georgia border. Video footage shows aircraft apparently breaking apart in midair. Plane [Reg. “68-01609”] had just departed from Ganja Int. Airport (Azerbaijan) heading to Turkiye. Updates when possible.”
