The IDP crisis in conflict hit Manipur seems to be escalating with displaced persons in the hill district taking to the streets alleging disparity and negligence over compensation.

After a meeting at the Peace Ground in Churachandpur, IDPs in large numbers took out a rally demanding inclusive implementation policy, immediate release of pending assistance, permanent housing and livelihood restoration, besides fair and transparent compensation and property protection.
