Nagaland Director General of Police (DGP) Rupin Sharma today provided an update on the ongoing recruitment process for 1,176 Constables (General Duty) in Nagaland Police, explaining the reasons behind the extension of the online application deadline.
The recruitment portal, which opened on October 6, 2025, was initially scheduled to close on November 7.
However, the last date has been extended by 15 days to accommodate candidates who faced delays in obtaining documents such as indigenous certificates.
DGP Sharma clarified that while registration is free, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 300 to be eligible for the examination.
