A new arrest warrant and complaint detail where investigators believe the arson suspect started the Birmingham Southside fire on Oct. 31.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) confirmed on Nov. 3 that there was an arrest in the fire that displaced 19 people and engulfed four buildings .

The Birmingham Police Department confirmed that Joshua Mitchell, 42, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail Nov. 1.

Mitchell is charged with arson and a complaint details it happened at Birmingham Tree House, which is right at the same area of Cobb Lane between 13th and 14th avenues where the fire was.
