We have declared this morning and Tuesday morning as First Alert Weather Days for the first big freeze of the season.

The freezing temperatures mark the end to the growing season. Make sure you protect your pets and plants from the cold temperatures. Winterize your home and make sure your outdoor faucets are covered up and insulated. You may need to drip the faucet tonight as temperatures drop into the low-to-mid 20s.

We are starting out the morning with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s and lower 30s. Winds continue form the northwest at 10 mph with gusts around 20 mph. When you factor in the wind, it feels like it is in the low-to-mid 20s. You’ll need to wear layers today to stay warm.
