FREMONT, Neb. (WOWT) - A suspect in a rural Dodge County burglary was arrested Monday morning after drugs were found in his car.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, deputies made contact with the suspect in a theft in rural Dodge County.
Contact was made with the suspect on East 23rd Street in Fremont around 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
After a search of the suspect’s vehicle, two ounces of methamphetamine and a half-ounce of marijuana were found.
51-year-old Daniel Rice was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, and Habitual Criminal.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said that the investigation remains ongoing.
