An Edinburgh family has said their new home is 'life-changing' after years of living in temporary housing .
Laura and Andy Malarky moved into their South Queensferry property with their three children Lily, 14, Sophia, six, and Poppy, four. Laura, 36, said getting the call with the offer of a new home 'felt like winning the lottery'.
The Malarky family had previously been living in temporary accommodation in the area, and say their new situation has given them 'stability and space'. Andy, 5, said the children are 'so much happier'.
Laura said: “Getting the call to say we’d been offered a new home felt like winning the lottery – we couldn’t believe it.”
Andy added: “Moving here has been life-changing for all of us. The kids are so much happier – they’re out on their bikes playing
