A man has been jailed for a prolific crime spree in upmarket towns south of Manchester. Fabio Coelho targeted numerous cars parked on driveways in Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, and Handforth.

But it was the contents he was after not the vehicles. He stole everything from bank cards, sunglasses and power tools to crown green bowling bags and balls, scout badges, Wii Sports games and cash.

He was identified by the use of facial recognition technology after being caught on CCTV.
