Authorities in Newark are asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Brianna James, who was reported missing on Friday, October 31.
According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr., Brianna was last seen in the area of Maple Avenue near Grumman Avenue.
She is described as an African American female, approximately 5’9” tall and weighing about 150 pounds.
Her clothing at the time she went missing is unknown.
Officials said Brianna’s physical and mental health are reported to be good.
Police also noted that she has run away twice before, but those previous incidents were not reported to authorities.
