LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One of Louisville’s most beloved holiday traditions, Light Up Louisville, returns Saturday, Dec. 6 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Jefferson Square Park.
The family-friendly event features the Lots of Lights Parade, live entertainment, local shopping, food and drink vendors and interactive holiday activities for all ages. Admission is free.
“This event brings thousands of Louisvillians together to celebrate the season and the spirit of our city,” said Mayor Craig Greenberg, D-Louisville, during a news briefing Tuesday. “We’re proud to continue this tradition and invite everyone downtown for a night of joy, lights and community.”
The celebration will conclude with a light show and a visit from Santa Claus.
