Two men have pled guilty to the murder of a Scots dad at the High Court of Glasgow this week. ‌

Michael Beaton, 35, was found with serious injuries on Drumfrochar Road in Greenock at around 7.20pm on Sunday, November 26, 2023. ‌

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment but sadly died a few hours later. ‌

Andrew McQuillan appeared at Glasgow High Court today and pled guilty to the murder of Michael Beaton. Richard Mullan also pled guilty yesterday when he appeared at the High Court of Glasgow. Both will be sentenced at a later date.
