ASCENSION PARISH, La. — The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office says that the 13-year-old girl who has been missing from her Prairieville home since Saturday was found safe.

"She is safe and secure!' the Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.

Louisiana State police have canceled the Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory.
