Cineplex is hosting a morning of free animated movies and affordable snacks on Saturday for kids of all ages to celebrate its Community Day.

Starting at 9 a.m., the movie chain will offer four free flicks — starting between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. — and $3 concessions.

One dollar from every concession purchase will be donated to social organization BGC (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada) to provide supportive and safe spaces for children and youth to stay outside of school hours.

In addition, those who arrive early will also get a play card to enjoy their favourite XSCAPE entertainment centre games for 30 minutes for free.
