NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department arrested a sex offender accused of following a woman home from a Sabrina Carpenter concert and attacking her in an apartment complex elevator in November.

The suspect’s newly-obtained arrest affidavit is now revealing more details of the frightening attack.

Joequarius Williams, 29, followed the victim from Bridgestone Arena to her apartment complex on the night of November 5, according to the affidavit.

As Williams followed her into the apartment building, the two got onto the same elevator. The affidavit states that he grabbed her around the neck from behind and said, “I’m going to kill you.”
