LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian was struck by a Metro A (Blue) Line train and killed Wednesday morning in the unincorporated Florence-Graham area of Los Angeles County.
The victim was struck at about 6:10 a.m. Wednesday at a rail crossing near the intersection or Nadeau Street and Graham Avenue, according to Metro spokesman Patrick Chandler.
“The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and declared the individual deceased,” he said.
A bus bridge was established between the Florence and Firestone stations to maintain service on the A Line.
The sheriff’s department was leading the investigation.
