BOWIE, Md. — A month after a Bowie High School student was robbed of his jacket and shoes at gunpoint in front of the school building and sent to the hospital, police charged a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old for the crime.
Koby Allen, 18, was arrested Wednesday morning after Bowie Police and the U.S. Marshals Service confiscated a Moose Knuckles jacket and shoes, as well as two automatic handguns, during a search warrant on Harry S Truman Drive in the man's native Upper Marlboro.
According to Chief Dwayne Preston, the 17-year-old was arrested at a different location.
Both Allen and the 17-year-old were charged with first-degree assault, armed robbery, use of a firearm in a violent crime and second-degree assault. The 17-year-old was charged as an adult, according to Preston.
