JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars could be getting a key offensive piece back soon. Tight end Brenton Strange has had his 21-day practice window opened, allowing him to return from injured reserve after missing four games with hip and quad injuries suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Before the setback, Strange had been one of the Jaguars’ most consistent weapons; a reliable target in the passing game and a major contributor to the run game that helped Travis Etienne break off some of his best runs this season.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence will likely welcome Strange’s return, especially as drops have continued to plague the Jacksonville offense in recent weeks.
