MOORHEAD — While the government shutdown is a U.S. House vote away from ending, it could also shut down the sale of hemp-derived THC products.
A measure that was passed in the U.S. Senate’s funding bill would ban any hemp-derived cannabis products that contain more than 0.4 milligrams of THC per serving.
The owner of Junkyard Brewing in Moorhead says edibles and drinks that would be banned have been very popular since they started selling them, and that while they won’t be hurt as badly, other businesses can’t say the same.
