LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Border Patrol are searching for a suspect inside Mall del Norte following a chase that ended in the mall parking lot.

The pursuit began on San Bernardo and Chicago streets, according to DPS. A man believed to be in his 30s ran into the mall and authorities are searching for him.

Several undocumented immigrants were detained during the incident.
