EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Families facing food insecurity in Evansville are getting help year-round, thanks to a new partnership finding new ways to grow and give back.
Setan Harvest, a certified naturally-grown farm, donates 80% of its produce to families in need across Evansville.
As temperatures drop, the farm is turning to hydroponics and converting high tunnels to grow crops through the winter months.
This effort is part of an ongoing partnership with Ascension St. Vincent of Evansville, especially as many families face uncertainty around SNAP benefits.
