LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - In 365 days, the calm of the Clifton neighborhood hasn’t erased the memories and emotions from one year ago.

Two people were killed and 11 people were hurt by the explosion at the Givaudan factory when a vent failed on a cooking vessel containing a caramel coloring.

Employees Kevens Dawson Junior and Austin Jaggers were killed in the blast. It also caused widespread damage to nearby homes and businesses in the Clifton neighborhood.
