CLARE — People in Clare can now visit ‘The Founder’s Wall’, a permanent tribute to military members and first responders in the area.

The wall is located in a newly dedicated section of Wood’s Household.

Owner Brett Moser said they wanted to do something special for the 80th anniversary of the store and was thrilled with the idea of honoring those locally who serve our country.

Several members of his family including his grandfather who founded the store have served.

Moser said the response to the tribute has been great.

“We’ve had people come in to look at the wall. One family yesterday submitted four photos, kind of the entire lineage of their family back to, you know, World War II. So, it’s been really neat. It’s nice to hear stories of people and kind of understand. You don’t real
