LAS CRUCES, N.M. —
Three people have been arrested and charged with a drive-by shooting that took place in Las Cruces.
According to court documents, the incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 29 at a home on the 1100 block of Monte Vista.
The resident inside the home that day with his infant son alleges that he called the police earlier that day on Amriss Silva, the mother of his infant, due to a custody dispute.
He alleges that Silva threatened to have his house shot at days before because he didn't want to buy baby wipes for their child.
On the morning of the shooting, surveillance footage showed a gray Dodge Charger stopping in front of the house when the car then backed up, and the front passenger of the vehicle shot at the residence.
