KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - A man accused of pulling on car door handles in Kinston tonight has been taken into custody.

Police say it happened on Dubose Drive, and the man was last seen walking toward Country Club Drive.

An investigation is underway as Kinston police actively search the area.

Residents are urged to remove valuables from their cars and keep them locked.
