Fans online noted Ric Flair’s absence from the live broadcast of the AEW Blood and Guts edition of Dynamite, where he was advertised to appear. Flair was expected to be part of an in-ring segment alongside Ricky Steamboat and FTR, but he was not featured on the telecast.
According to a report from The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer , Flair was, in fact, in attendance at the event in Greensboro, North Carolina. The reason for his absence from the show was due to an injury. Meltzer reported that Flair was in “a ton of pain” from a recent rotator cuff tear.
Flair did make a brief, non-televised appearance for the live crowd. However, he reportedly left the arena early due to the discomfort from the injury.
