CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A Grundy County Deputy was involved in a wreck Wednesday morning in Lookout Valley.
Grundy officials say he lives in the area and was heading to work when it happened.
The Highway Patrol reports he was travelling on Cummings Highway just after six this morning with his blue lights on.
The report says a vehicle pulled out in front of him from a gas station.
The two vehicles collided on their front bumpers.
Grundy officials say the officer had just been alerted that he was needed at work.
They say he was treated and released from the hospital with a cut to his face.
